Cats Declare World Domination Set for June 24, Stage Takeover of Hill's Pet Nutrition

From their new seats in the C-suite, cats turn efforts to expanding mealtime options (classic) and helping shelter cats rise to power one home takeover at a time.

OVERLAND PARK, Kan., June 18, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- In a move that was inevitable, cats have officially taken over Hill's Pet Nutrition. What began as a whisper campaign has now escalated into a full-on feline occupation, just in time for the most important holiday of the year: Cat World Domination Day, observed on June 24 (by everyone who knows what's good for them).

Before we can focus on global domination, we have some more immediate demands, mostly involving food.

First order of business: flavor. • Humane Society of Tacoma and Pierce County (Tacoma, Wash.)
• Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League (West Palm Beach, Fla.)
