Cavium Partners with F5 Networks for LiquidSecurity™ Hardware Security Module Family Integration

(NASDAQ: CAVM), a leading provider of products that enable secure and intelligent processing for enterprise, data center, wired and wireless networking, today announced integration with F5 Networks for its LiquidSecurity Hardware Security Module (HSM) family for next generation transaction security for cloud applications. As longstanding technology partners, the companies provide seamless integration of the LiquidSecurity HSM family with F5's BIG-IP® product family.
As customers race to keep up with the SSL encryption demands of regulatory compliance and the demands of the changing business, they need to leverage physical, virtual, and cloud technology. F5's SSL Everywhere reference architecture offers customers a choice depending on their preferences, operational models, and business needs. A primary component of F5's SSL Everywhere solution is key protection; the LiquidSecurity HSM will enable customers to achieve FIPS 140-2 compliance in hybrid deployments with key and certificate protection. The integration simplifies operations, while maintaining secure key protection and flexibility to deliver applications across hybrid environments.
LiquidSecurity™ HSM family provides a FIPS 140-2 level 2 and level 3 partitioned, centralized and elastic key management solution with high transaction/sec performance. It addresses high performance security requirements for private key management and administration while also addressing elastic performance per virtual / network domain for cloud environment. This product family is available as a PCI Express adapter with complete software and as a HSM appliance for evaluation or deployment. It offers a no compromise fully secure and cost efficient solution that addresses the stringent security requirements of SaaS applications, ecommerce payment systems and Enterprise, Banking and Government security applications especially as they migrate to the Public or Private cloud. Major applications for this product family include Key Management as-a-Service, Database as-a-Service, Crypto as-a-service, Secure DNS, SaaS Applications, Virtual Private Clouds in the Public Cloud and Payment systems.
