CCR Mitsubishi Named Title Sponsor of the 2016 British Water Polo Championships

Britain's Largest Mitsubishi Dealer Backs Gloucester Event

The organisers of the British Water Polo Championships, water polo's elite club competition, announced today that the UK's largest independent Mitsubishi dealer, CCR, has been named as the official title sponsor of this year's finals, which take place on 14-15 May at Gloucester's GL1 Leisure Centre.

Water polo is often described as one of the world's toughest sports, and the finals on 14-15 May sees the top four men's and women's teams in the UK compete in a winner-takes-all knockout competition.

"Water polo is a sport that requires speed, power and stamina, much like the vehicles we offer. Teams from Cheltenham, Bristol, Manchester and Lancaster will compete for the men's title, whilst Liverpool, Otter, Coventry and Caledonia battle it out for the women.

The CCR Mitsubishi 2016 British Water Polo Championships kicks off at 14:00 on Saturday 14 May. Doors open at 09:00 on Sunday 15 May at GL1 Leisure Centre, Bruton Way, Gloucester, GL1 1DT. Tickets are available on the door and all games will also be live-streamed online at www.bwpl.org.
