Bill Whalen, formerly of Wells Fargo Multifamily Capital, has been appointed Managing Director, and will head operations for the new San Francisco office location. He will be focused on originating fixed and floating rate loans, and expanding the firm's multi-family lending business in California and other West Coast markets. He will report to Anthony Orso, Chief Executive Officer of CCRE.

Mr. Whalen was previously a Managing Director at Wells Fargo Multifamily Capital where he was responsible for originating over $500 million in Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Balance Sheet loans. Earlier, he held senior positions at Hamilton Zanze & Company and Wachovia. Mr. Whalen graduated with a B.A. in Economics from the University of New Mexico.
