Canada's leading technology solution provider named Donor of the Week
ETOBICOKE, ON, Jan. 14, 2015 /CNW/ - CDW Canada, a leading provider of technology solutions for Canadian organizations in the public and private sectors, is thrilled to announce it is donating $28,655 to The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in support of Children's Miracle Network. As a direct result of its various fundraising initiatives, the Canadian company has also been named Donor of the Week by the SickKids Foundation for the week of January 12th.
As part of their annual seasonal campaign efforts, CDW Canada coworkers raised funds and collected new toys over the holiday season to help spread joy to children undergoing medical treatment at the hospital. The toys collected from CDW Canada's annual toy drive were delivered to patients at SickKids to enjoy this past holiday season. During an award presentation on January 13, 2015, CDW Canada presented SickKids Foundation with a cheque for its monetary donation, supporting the SickKids mandate of delivering and maintaining an enriched level of care for patients, families, doctors and staff.
