CECO Environmental Announces a New Order of Approximately $5.5 Million

CINCINNATI, July 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CECO Environmental Corp. (NasdaqGM: CECE), a leading provider of air pollution control and industrial ventilation systems, announced today that it has received a new order valued at approximately $5.5 million.  

Jeff Lang, Chief Executive Officer, stated, "This is a significant order for our company and comes from a customer in the refining industry.  Together with other orders received in the first two weeks of July, we have already booked in excess of $8.2 million for the month which continues the strengthening in our industry and in our backlog."

Mr. Lang continued, "We also recently implemented a facility consolidation plan which will eliminate excess capacity, better integrate our manufacturing platforms and enhance CECO's competitive advantage and service to our customers.  We expect this process to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2010 and significantly improve our operational efficiency and overall profitability."
