Celebrity Fashion Designer David Meister to be Honored by Susan G. Komen Los Angeles at its First Annual Gala, "Designs for the Cure"

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Fashion designer David Meister will be honored at the first annual Susan G. Komen Los Angeles "Designs for the Cure" gala, an organization devoted to raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research.  The event will be held in association with the Otis College of Art and Design, an institution where David is extremely involved in mentoring students and nurturing young talent.

The event, to be held at the Bel Air Bay Club on October 28, will be the organization's first high-profile gala celebration, raising funds and increasing awareness for Susan G. Komen Foundation's mission during national Breast Cancer Awareness month. David will not only be honored at the event but will be hosting the evening as well.
