(NYSE: CEL) (TASE: CEL) (hereinafter: the "Company") announced today that Mr. Nochi Dankner, who had been appointed as a member of the Company's board of directors by Discount Investment Corporation Ltd., or DIC, resigned from his office effective January 8, 2014, and DIC designated in his place Mr. Raanan Cohen, a member of the Company's board of directors, as its appointee effective as of January 9, 2014.
Mr. Cohen's appointment is in accordance with the requirement of the Company's telecommunications license and articles of association that at least 20% of the Company directors be appointed by Israeli citizens and residents from among the Company's founding shareholders, as defined in our license and articles of association, namely DIC.
