Center for Companies That Care Symposium to Spotlight Businesses' Super Heroes and Their Super Strategies

CHICAGO, July 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Business executives from the Chicagoland area and across the nation will descend on the famed Palmer House Hilton on July 12th for a super-charged symposium hosted by national non-profit Center for Companies That Care (www.companies-that-care.org/recognition/annual-conference).
This event will focus on the super heroes and super strategies necessary for running a socially responsible company. The event features keynote speaker Thomas Walter, CEO of Tasty Catering, and a 10th anniversary celebration of Center for Companies That Care Honor Roll. Walter, CEO of Tasty Catering and co-author of the soon to be released book, It's My Company Too! How Entangled Companies Move Beyond Employee Engagement for Remarkable Results, will discuss "Steps to Creating a Successful Workplace that Treasures Human Capital and the Community." Marci Koblenz, President of Center for Companies That Care, will also join Walter as part of an Executive Leadership Forum.
Additionally there is a panel discussion on the "Value Proposition for Caring," where panelists from business, education, health and non-profit sectors will share their unique viewpoints about the strategic importance of social responsibility, as well as a power networking session.
