CENTERM to Showcase New Cloud Terminal at Citrix Synergy Barcelona 2012
BARCELONA, Spain, Oct. 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- CENTERM, a leading integrated solution provider for cloud computing terminals, thin clients, payment POS and "desktop cloud" in the Asia Pacific region, will exhibit its new desktop cloud terminal B20 and mobile cloud terminal CT Pad2 at the Citrix Synergy Barcelona 2012 on October 17-19. This is a major step forward as the firm demonstrates its latest technological achievement in System-on-Chip (SoC) and Power-over-Ethernet (POE) after CENTERM made its first foray into the US and European markets when it announced the GM810 cloud terminal at Citrix Synergy San Francisco 2012 in May. The GM810 is certified as Citrix HDX Ready and ready to ship now. The GM810 is the most affordable Citrix HDX Ready cloud terminal on the market today.
CENTERM overseas sales director Mr. Zheng Xu disclosed that the company has made low energy consumption and full compatibility the key highlights at its exhibits at this year's Citrix Synergy, in a move to meet general market demand. The B20 is based on SoC technology and adopts the all-new POE scheme, providing all connection needs through a single cable and reducing power consumption by approximately 20 percent. In addition, the B20 is fully compatible with Citrix XenDesktop, XenAppand VDI-in-a-box virtualization solutions, and supports 1080P High Definition Video local rendering. The product is being well received by the industry. The other highlighted product, the CT Pad2, is the only cloud terminal that can meet enterprise customers' needs for mobile cloud computing among all Android tablets on the market.
