SEATTLE, Sept. 21 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Puget Sound Business Journal (PSBJ) recognized Executive Director Andrea Caupain of the Central Area Motivation Program (CAMP) with the 40 Under 40 Award for showing dynamic leadership in the non-profit community. The PSBJ panel conducted a five month search and reviewed over 232 applications before choosing Andrea Caupain as one of the area's top business leaders under the age of 40.
"I am extremely pleased to have received this award," said Andrea Caupain. "Now more than ever, many people in the community are relying on non-profits like CAMP to help provide for their most basic needs. Our organization is fully committed to providing high-quality programs to meet these needs, with an ambitious plan to add even more services next year."
For over a decade, Andrea has worked passionately to make a positive impact on issues of racial equality and poverty. As CAMP's Executive Director since July 2009, she is leading the agency into a new era. She has implemented a three-year work plan to lay the foundation for future growth, including opening new programs to educate and address the fundamental causes of poverty.
"It's an honor to work at CAMP, where we focus on helping the poorest individuals and families that are struggling to survive. It's a big responsibility, but I can honestly say I love my job," said Andrea Caupain. "I feel like we're making a difference every day in people's lives."
