Central Florida Pain Relief Centers Welcomes Dr. Daren Subnaik to Altamonte Springs, Sand Lake Locations
ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla., June 29, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Central Florida Pain Relief Centers is pleased to announce Dr. Daren Subnaik has joined its Altamonte Springs and Sand Lake locations. Dr. Subnaik is an interventional pain medicine specialist with extensive training in a variety of pain management procedures and techniques.
Dr. Subnaik is trained in advanced fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided pain procedures, which are used to diagnose and treat chronic pain. In addition to spinal cord stimulation, sympathetic nerve blocks, facet and sacroiliac rhizotomy, genicular nerve ablations and epidural steroid injections, he has special interest in interventional headache management.
"When it comes to pain management, each patient has their own unique needs and circumstances to consider," said Dr. Subnaik. "My goal is to provide compassionate care using a multidisciplinary approach and to incorporate all of the patient's healthcare providers for the best possible outcome."
Other areas of interest include spasticity and chronic pain management with botulinum toxin and intrathecal programmable drug delivery systems. Dr. Subnaik is also proficient in electromyography and nerve conduction studies and incorporates pain psychology and physical therapy into his practice.
After graduating magna cum laude from Jacksonville University, Dr. Subnaik attended medical school at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. He completed his internship at Michigan State University and served as chief resident in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Louisville. Following residency, he completed an interventional pain medicine fellowship in the department of anesthesiology at the University of Michigan.
