Central Florida Urban League Hosts 2012 Financial Empowerment Summit
Event features presentations to help Families, Women, Millennials and Entrepreneurs
ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Recognizing the need to equip families with information and resources to navigate a still recovering economy, the Central Florida Urban League is hosting its 2012 Financial Empowerment Summit, powered by Fifth Third Bank.
The Summit takes place on Saturday, Feb. 4 from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando Downtown, located at 60 S. Ivanhoe Boulevard in Orlando.
"Attendees will leave this Summit empowered to reach their financial goals," said Allie L. Braswell, Jr., Central Florida Urban League president. Designed to assist Families, Women, Millennials, and Small Business Owners, the program is organized into four tracks with tailored presentations about building, planning and growing financial resources. Participants will learn how to improve their overall financial position, protect themselves from identity theft, purchase a home in today's economy, plan for their financial future, and discover resources available to help grow and sustain their businesses.
