Certain Inc. Appoints New Vice President to Drive Strategic Product Development

SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Certain Inc. today announced it has appointed David Burton as vice president of product development and cloud operations. Previously, Burton spent eight years at Oracle, where he was the senior director of Oracle Applications Labs, responsible for all Marketing and Engineering systems used internally, including marketing automation, event management and PLM systems.

At Oracle, Burton was responsible for implementing marketing and engineering systems for global internal uses. He specialized in Eloqua SaaS (software as a service) Marketing Automation, Event Management, Siebel CRM, Fusion CRM, Social Marketing and PLM (product lifecycle management) software. Prior to his tenure at Oracle, David gained global enterprise systems experience in a variety of international assignments with Kodak Asia Pacific, Ballard Power Systems, Inc. and Rand Worldwide.
