Cetera Financial Institutions Welcomes Bobby Huddleston as Senior Vice President of New Business Development

ST. CLOUD, Minn., June 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Cetera Financial Institutions, the bank and credit union-focused firm within Cetera Financial Group, a leading network of independent broker-dealer firms, announced today the addition of Bobby Huddleston as Senior Vice President of New Business Development, effective immediately. In this role, Mr. Huddleston will oversee the recruitment of bank and credit union-based investment programs to the Cetera Financial Institutions platform. Mr. Huddleston, based in Buffalo, New York, will serve the northern part of the United States.

Mr. Huddleston's appointment follows the Company's mid-February announcement highlighting the hiring of Kyle Hallman as Senior Regional Vice President of Business Development.  Mr. Hallman's responsibilities include oversight for recruiting wealth management programs for financial institutions within the southern United States. The combination of Mr. Huddleston and Mr. Hallman is further evidence of Cetera Financial Institution's commitment to strengthening its business development executive management team to further extend the firm's offerings within the bank and credit union wealth management sector.

Prior to joining Cetera Financial Institutions, Mr. Huddleston was Regional Director and Senior Vice President for Investments for National City Bank, where he managed 27 financial advisors and 154 licensed bankers throughout 154 retail bank branches. In 2009, he moved to First Niagara Bank as Regional Sales Manager of Investments, where he was responsible for building the financial advisor and licensed banker program in the western Pennsylvania region. In Dec. 2012, Mr. Huddleston was promoted to National Sales Director for First Niagara Investment Services, moving to its headquarters in Buffalo, New York. Mr. Huddleston is a CFP®, CRC®, and holds Series 6, 7, 9, 10 and 63 securities registrations.
