CFLD International Appoints Top Executive to Lead U.S. Operations

Sanford has over 25 years of experience in the U.S. commercial real estate markets, and previously served as Executive Vice President at Kilroy Realty Corporation, as well as held other key positions at Lowe Enterprises, Equity Office Properties, and Spieker Properties. Over the course of his real estate career, Sanford has been responsible for over USD6 billion of investment activity that included over six million square feet of development. As CEO of CFLD (US) Inc., he will be responsible for growing the company's footprint throughout the U.S., where he will be in charge of the local strategy and operations, as well as spearhead market development and team expansion.

Sanford's appointment adds to the U.S. team's bench strength of experienced professionals, which include William La Herran, Chief Financial Officer; Benjamin Yu,  Head of Acquisitions and Development; Catherine Carlton, Head of Government and Public Affairs; and Kevin Moore, Head of Human Resources.

Sanford is currently the Vice Chairman of the Building Owners and Managers Association, San Francisco (BOMA S.F.) Foundation, a Board Member of NAIOP Silicon Valley and a council member of Urban Land Institute (ULI). He holds a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from the Haas School of Business and a BA from the University of California, Berkeley.
