CGI first SAP services partner to achieve this certification in Canada

MONTREAL, Jan. 17 /PRNewswire/ - CGI Group, Inc. (TSX: GIB.A; NYSE: GIB), a leading provider of information technology and business process services, today announced that it has been certified by SAP AG (NYSE: SAP) in using the Run SAP^® methodology to perform solution implementation for customers. As such, CGI will implement end-to-end solution operations standards for clients, delivering enhanced efficiencies, reduced downtime and costs.

The Run SAP methodology focuses on application management, business process operations, and administration of SAP solutions. The methodology describes how support should be implemented across the lifecycle design, set-up, operations and optimization. In addition, with its best-practice documents for solution operations, it describes how to implement end-to-end solution operations for different SAP software-based business processes.
