CGI successfully completes data center transformation for Australia's APA Group
Transformation supports goal of high service and reliability for continued business growth

SYDNEY, Australia, June 17, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - CGI (NYSE: GIB) (TSX: GIB.A) today announced the successful completion of a major data center transformation project for APA Group (ASX: APA), Australia's largest natural gas infrastructure business.
APA's three existing data centers have been replaced with two modern data centers and a highly available active/active infrastructure platform to support business-critical systems. The project forms part of an overall IT modernization and consolidation program aimed at gaining efficiencies following recent mergers and acquisitions.
APA is a major ASX-listed gas transportation business, delivering approximately half of Australia's annual gas use through its infrastructure located throughout mainland Australia. Their modernized, standardized platform will increase application availability and flexibility, ensuring continued high standards of service and reliability and supporting future business growth.
CGI completed the IT infrastructure architecture, design and implementation and will now manage the data centers under a three-year services contract.
