Champions Sports Bar In Miami Plans To Bowl Over Locals With Special Game Day Tailgate On Feb. 7
Sports bar at Courtyard Miami Airport will feature traditional fare, beer and live entertainment for 50th celebration of football's biggest game
MIAMI, Feb. 2, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Miami residents and visitors are invited to experience the biggest football event of the year at a sports bar built on local flavor and Miami sophistication.
Enjoy the festivities at the first Game Day Tailgate on the spacious lawn outside Champions Sports Bar at Courtyard Miami Airport. The event, planned from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016, will feature live music by Under the Covers and lawn games including corn hole, giant Jenga and Connect Four.
During the tailgate, the Miami sports bar will present a unique take on traditional tailgate foods at special grill stations offering:
- Slaw dog: Pineapple coleslaw with crispy jalapeno
- Chili dog: Beef chili, aged cheddar cheese sauce, crispy onions
- Bacon cheeseburger: Miami Smokers bacon, Chihuahua cheese, Champ sauce
- Champions classic burger: Sautéed mushrooms, balsamic onions, goat cheese
Miami's Wynwood Brewing Company will be on tap to pour beers.
Game Day Tailgate guests are encouraged to stay and watch the big game under the stars on the outdoor big screen with oversized couches. Food and drink specials after tailgating will also be available indoors. The Miami bar features cozy booths with individual TV screens as well as tables and bar seating with perfect views of strategically placed TVs and the video wall.
Kickoff for the big game celebrating 50 years of football is set for 6:30 p.m. at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, CA.
Tailgate tickets are $40 per person and include one drink and one food item. The price does not include tax or gratuities. A la carte items will be available for purchase.
