Serge Exshaw succeeds Michael Rieder, who retired
As of January 2014, Serge Exshaw is the new Vice President of MAQUET Holding. Together with this new challenge as Head of Global Marketing and Sales he has also become a member of the MAQUET Executive Board. He is succeeding Michael Rieder, who has been a very successful Managing Director of MAQUET Holding, Executive Board member and Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing of Getinge Medical Systems since 1999. Rieder (61) has been planning for quite some time now to begin his well-deserved retirement on December 31, 2013.

Serge Exshaw (45) is a business graduate and has been representing MAQUET internationally in leading positions since 1991. He has extensive experience in operational as well as strategic areas, he has held several senior positions - Managing Director of MAQUET UK, Chief Executive Officer of MAQUET France, Vice President Sales and Marketing MAQUET Cardiovascular and President Sales & Marketing MAQUET WEMEA (Western Europe Middle East Africa).
