Industry-first center provides comfortable environment for recovery and life preparation of young men in the DFW Metroplex.
DALLAS, Jan. 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Chapter House Sober Living is now accepting residents into their new young adult male sober living environment in North Dallas.
Chapter House is looking to set the bar in the recovery residence and sober living homes community. Through offering a comprehensive life development program, Chapter House is focusing on the failure-to-launch population of young men with chemical dependency. The program's proven approach provides each resident with a case manager, 24-hour staffing, career and vocational counseling, health and wellness training, financial readiness curriculum, and a 12-step immersion experience with a heavy focus on community involvement. The home sits on the Sherrill Park Golf Course in Richardson, Texas. The 5700-square-foot home includes a computer lab, a fully equipped game room, luxury bedding, a dedicated family hospitality room, and ample living space.
The program provides access to an advanced outpatient clinic that specializes in early recovery issues, including gender-specific struggles, psychiatric evaluation and medication management with an onsite addiction psychiatrist, and is fully equipped to accommodate individuals with co-occurring disorders. Chapter House Counseling Center takes insurance.
Chapter House was founded by Michael and Heidi Smith, who have a combined 25 years of experience working in the field of addiction treatment. "We provide a soft landing for men in early recovery, post-treatment or relapse and provide a structured and caring environment for continued sobriety in preparation for facing the realities of life beyond our walls," said Michael Smith, Co-Founder. "Many guys can hold their breath through treatment, but they don't know how to be sober outside of the doors of rehab. We will meet them at that point and walk them through the transition."
Chapter House serves men between ages 18 and 35 in early recovery form chemical dependency and is currently accepting residents into the program.
