Charges Dropped Against Wayne County Jail Contractor Anthony Parlovecchio
BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich., Oct. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Charges against Bloomfield Hills builder Anthony Parlovecchio were dismissed in 36th District Court on October 19, in regards to his company's work with the Wayne County Jail project. His company, Parlovecchio Building, Inc., served as an independent contractor on the project for ten months during the turbulent administration of former Wayne County Executive Robert Ficano.
"Mr. Parlovecchio's contract with the county was for three years, but he was terminated after ten months," said Parlovecchio's attorney Ben Gonek. "During the time period of the contract, he was under budget and ahead of schedule."
Parlovecchio has been in business for nearly 30 years, with experience in commercial, industrial and residential projects.
"I'm pleased that my name has been cleared and the misdemeanor charge against me has been dismissed," said Parlovecchio. "I have been working as a builder for nearly three decades and am very proud of our record of building high quality commercial, industrial and residential projects on time and on budget."
