
Charleston, WV Firm Wins 9 National Awards
CHARLESTON, W.Va., March 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Rainmaker, a Charleston-based political consulting, public relations and advertising firm, was honored this weekend by winning nine Pollie Awards at the American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC) 19th Annual Pollie Awards Ceremony. The awards were presented at the organization's annual meeting in Phoenix, Arizona on March 27, 2010.
The West Virginia agency was runner-up for Best of Show in the Television/Radio category. Rainmaker took home the gold award (the highest honor) in the Campaign Logo category for its work on the Putman County School Bond. Six silver awards were given for the agency's work for Energize West Virginia with Natural Gas. The agency won for its Direct Mail Campaign and radio ads for Energize WV. Rainmaker also received Honorable Mention for a full page newspaper ad entitled "Focus on the Truth."
