Charter Fitness' 5th Annual Toy Drive to Benefit Families in Need
CHICAGO, Dec. 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Now through December 20th, 2011, Charter Fitness members and residents in their surrounding communities are encouraged to donate toys to support the Charter Fitness 5th Annual Toy Drive. Toys that are new and unwrapped may be dropped off at any participating Charter Fitness location. The toys will benefit families in need in each of the communities served by the clubs, and will be distributed through local charities and organizations such as Toys for Tots, Advocate Hope Children's Hospital, and the Salvation Army.
"Anybody is encouraged to drop off toys at a Charter Fitness near them. There are a lot of children in need in our communities. We want to help them have the best holiday possible," said Dan Collins, Director of Sales.
This is the 5th year Charter Fitness is hosting its annual toy drive. Since its inception, the effort has collected over 15,000 toys for local children.
