Chartwell Welcomes Rich Chapman, Establishes Risk Mitigation Platform

MINNEAPOLIS, Aug. 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Chartwell Financial Advisory, Inc. is pleased to announce the hiring of Rich Chapman as a Managing Director.  Chapman is a published author on the topics of leadership and character development, a frequent keynote speaker, and a nationally recognized authority on the use of funding strategies to manage long-term corporate liabilities and risk events.  He will expand Chartwell's Advisory practice through the establishment of a Risk Mitigation platform.

Chartwell's Risk Mitigation platform will help companies assess and manage financial risks related to valuations, Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs), management or stockholder transitions, sales transactions, and executive leadership retention.  Chapman will consult with and assist companies in the assessment, sourcing, pricing, and servicing of corporate-owned insurance programs.  He will help quantitatively and qualitatively evaluate the use of insurance vehicles as a tool to manage risk, minimize exposure, and optimize long-term success.

Chapman joins Chartwell following a 25-year career with Clark Consulting, where he served as CEO of the banking industry's largest distributor and administrator of executive benefit plans and bank owned life insurance programs.  Chapman oversaw all operations, guided a national sales organization, and helped lead his company to a successful public offering.  He then went on to consult with privately held middle-market companies, helping equip executive leaders, build healthy corporate cultures, and inspire growth through the pursuit of personal excellence.
