CheckMark Payroll Software Overhauled with Database Capabilities, New Features, and New Screen for 2013
FORT COLLINS, Colo., Dec. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- CheckMark, Inc. overhauled their Payroll Software for 2013 to offer what CEO Mohammed Ghani calls "The most feature rich and affordable [payroll] update yet." CheckMark Payroll Software was redesigned in automation, expansion of features and an updated appearance. Now customers can take care of their payroll needs with greater efficiency and focus more on their core business. The new program for 2013 is available at www.checkmark.com.
CheckMark has streamlined essential program functions and automated installation for the user. Upon program launch, Payroll checks automatically for any program updates so the user stays up to date on important tax rate changes or program patches. Users can now easily switch between multiple companies, copy company set up data, and get automatic program backups.
CheckMark vastly expanded the existing features and new features based on user feedback. Numbers of Additional Incomes per employee, Deductions per employee, Hour Accruals per employee, and Hour Categories per company have all increased, along with State & Local Tax Categories. The program expanded its check-printing capabilities to accommodate for top, middle, and bottom check formats and up to two signature lines per check. Director of Software Development Chris Kraemer boasts "We now offer an Automatic Tax Table Update, or ATTU, that keeps your tax tables up to date and your software in compliance." Finally with increasing security concerns, password characters were increased and new enhanced encryption features were added to keep data secure.
CheckMark updated the program to a clean, simple user interface. The new look offers a modern and streamlined appearance and users can adjust window, font sizes, and color preferences. It also offers a live newsfeed with important updates, tips, and Quick Links to make processing payroll and staying up-to-date on the latest changes a breeze.
