SUNNYVALE, Calif., March 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Chelsio Communications, Inc., a leading provider of Ethernet adapters for storage networking, virtualized enterprise data centers, cloud service installations, and cluster computing environments, today announced the company has joined the Open Compute Project (OCP) under the Open Compute Foundation.  Initiated by Facebook, the OCP mission is to develop and specify the most cost-efficient, energy efficient and scalable enterprise and Web 2.0 data center technologies.
