Additions Offer Depth And Strength To Experienced Industry Team
AUSTIN, Texas, May 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Chem Rock, a leader in stimulation, completions, and water management solutions to the oil & gas industry, is proud to announce the additions of Barry Ekstrand, James Lofton, and Cash Carlisle to their business team.
Barry Ekstrand has been appointed President of Chem Rock, where he will focus on business expansion by leveraging Chem Rock's unique well stimulation and well fracture technology and track record for delivering improved well economics. He joins Chem Rock after 35 successful years at Halliburton, Weatherford, Key Energy Services, and CRS Proppants, including building Weatherford's Fracturing Technologies group from a startup to an industry leader in frac services. Throughout his career, Ekstrand has delivered strong business growth around innovative technology solutions and business processes. His experience in well completions is extensive, with deep application knowledge of the services and chemistries used. Barry is a Registered Petroleum Engineer and holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering as well as an MBA from California State University.
James Lofton joins Chem Rock as V.P. and Business Unit Manager for the AcroGen™ Division. Under his leadership, Chem Rock will be marketing the new AcroGen™ and AcroShot™ technologies developed by EnerSciences Applied Research into the oil & gas industry. AcroGen™ is a non-hazardous production and delivery process for acrolein and other hazardous, sulfide-treating applications and eliminates a large source of hazardous miles driven for many operators. Lofton brings 25 years of experience in production enhancement, with a combined 20+ years spent at Baker Hughes, Halliburton MultiChem, and other oil & gas services companies. Lofton earned a B.Sc. degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M.
Cash Carlisle will assume the role of Business Unit Manager for Chem Rock's Water Sciences Group. He comes to Chem Rock with a track record of dynamic growth working at Baker Hughes in sales and management roles, including heading up the Water Management business for the Southern Geo region. While there, he assisted in the design and marketing of specialty chemical applications. Chem Rock's Water Sciences Group coordinates water management needs with the Company's chemical solutions, cost effectively delivering water that is FracReadyTM. Carlisle earned a business degree in Economics from the University of Oklahoma.
