Cheng Cohen Attorneys Participate in International Roundtable at M&A Conference
CHICAGO, June 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Amy Cheng and Michael R. Daigle, partners at Cheng Cohen, the franchise industry's premier full service boutique law firm, will participate in a roundtable on international mergers and acquisitions at the 2015 Summer Conference hosted by The Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors (AM&AA). Approximately 500 private equity investors and other dealmakers are anticipated to attend the annual event in Chicago, July 7 through 9. The International Roundtable will occur at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8.
The roundtable will be an interactive opportunity to discuss global deal making over breakfast. Topics will include best practices for firms interested in extending their presence internationally, the broad legal differences between international and U.S.-based M&A transactions, how a firm can begin exploring international markets if not already doing so, and an analysis of the financial costs for failing to consider international markets as expansion targets.
