Cherokee Uniforms Calls For Nominations Of Outstanding Healthcare Professionals

LOS ANGELES, May 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Cherokee Uniforms, a leading provider of healthcare apparel, is accepting nominations for its 11th annual Inspired Comfort Award. The award recognizes nurses, nursing-school students, and other non-physician healthcare professionals who have taken extraordinary and inspiring steps to serve their patients and their communities. The deadline for nominations is August 1, 2013.

Nomination categories include Registered Nurses (RNs), Advanced Practice Nurses (APNs), Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses (LPNs/LVNs), students enrolled in nursing school, and other Non-Physician Healthcare Professionals.

Nominations for the 2013 Inspired Comfort Award may be submitted online at www.inspiredcomfort.com/nominate. Since 2003, more than 10,000 healthcare providers have been nominated, with nearly 100 honored as Inspired Comfort Award winners.

For every healthcare professional nominated through August 1, 2013, Cherokee Uniforms will make a donation to Nurses House, a national fund that provides short-term financial assistance to registered nurses facing serious hardship.

Prizes
Grand Prize winners in each category will receive an all-expenses-paid Caribbean cruise for two.  All other winners will receive:

• An all-expenses-paid trip to a 2014 U.S. medical conference of each winner's choice; and
• An annual membership to their preferred clinical association.

All winners receive:
