Chevalier™ Collection Revolutionizes the Wine Drinking Experience for Connoisseurs
Patent Pending Wine Glasses Allow Aeration on Direct Pour, Eliminating the Need for Messy Third-Party Aeration Devices
LOS ANGELES, Nov. 18, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Quickly revolutionizing the way connoisseurs enjoy their wine, Chevalier™ Collection is unveiling its new line of stemware designed to aerate wine on a direct pour, eliminating the need for messy, third-party aeration devices.
Conceptualized and designed in California, and engineered in Connecticut by the independent firm GYRE9, Chevalier™ Collection's wine glasses are made of lead-free borosilicate glass and feature an innovative vessel within the glass that exposes the wine to a high level of aeration, enhancing the flavor profile of red and white wines.
The designs are laboratory tested and proven to outperform other third-party aeration devices.
"People who appreciate wine know that once you uncork a favorite bottle, the potential of its flavor has not fully blossomed until the wine has had a chance to breathe," said Dillon Burroughs, CEO of Chevalier™ Collection. "Instead of swirling your glass to speed up the process, our wine glasses deliver a perfect glass of wine on the pour."
To use Chevalier™ Collection wine glasses, the user simply pours the wine from the bottle into the wine glass' internal vessel. On the pour, the wine is forced through strategically designed spouts in the base of the vessel that stream the wine into the main bowl of the glass. This process creates a showerhead effect that exposes the wine to the most aeration possible on a direct pour.
The collection currently features three types of glasses, including:
- The Modern – Designed for the consumption of quality white wines, the Modern also brings out the best flavors in pinot noirs, merlots, and cabernet sauvignons.
- The Legacy – Shaped like a traditional burgundy wine glass, The Legacy is scientifically proven to aerate wine that is poured into its internal vessel, allowing the flavor and aroma of your wine to blossom without adding any extra steps to the process.
Chevalier™ Collection fine stemware are hand blown and hand assembled. Purchases and wholesale inquiries can be made on the company's website, www.chevaliercollection.com.
