CHIARA BONI La Petite Robe Presents New Collection at New York Fashion Week
NEW YORK, Feb. 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- CHIARA BONI La Petite Robe (chiaraboni.com) returned to New York Fashion Week with a collection inspired by the chic, international jetsetters of today: guests of the most prestigious, grand hotels in the world who travel the globe in style. The Fall/Winter 2017-18 collection was presented on February 14, at Skylight Clarkson Sq.
Guests included: Paris Hilton, Fran Drescher, Nichole Galicia, Amy Robach, Kimberly Guilfoyle, Alicia Rountree, Liliana Nova, Magdalena Frackowiak, and Sandra Smith.
Independent women, armed with an adventurous spirit and impeccable taste, are celebrated throughout the collection. This season, the brand's signature fabric is paired with faux leather, velvet and matte fabrics. Exposed zippers and tuxedo-inspired collars add an edge of masculinity to the feminine silhouette.
A range of accessories compliments the collection. Clutches and mini handbags in jersey and velvet, along with a range of pumps, mules and sandals, are worked into the collection's color palette of nocturnal tones with pops of teal and purple.
An exclusive capsule collection of turbans in the signature CHIARA BONI La Petite Robe fabric adds a final touch. These are produced by Caritas Roma with the She Turban Project, associated with 'Io abito qui'.
The accompanying music comes from Mangaboo, the new project by Giulia Passera (The Sweet Life Society) and Francesco Pistoi (Motel Connection). "When we collaborate with Chiara, it is a complete idea exchange. We spoke of a concept of a great hall in a hotel, and the type of women you would imagine in such a space, like the Grand Hotel of Vicky Baub. In this space, the radio plays the notes of Mangaboo which intermixes with jazz notes."
