CHICAGO, Jan. 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- For the fifth consecutive year, Attorney Robert R. Duncan has been selected to the list of Illinois Rising Stars℠by Super Lawyers® (Super Lawyers 2014). Every year, thousands of lawyers are nominated and reviewed but no more than 2.5% in each state are included in the final list of Rising Stars.
The rating process combines third party research with peer review. After attorneys have been nominated, they undergo evaluation in 12 major areas, including verdicts and settlements, experience, honors and awards, bar/professional activity and other achievements that set them apart.
In order to be eligible for a Rising Stars nomination, an attorney must fall into one or both of the following categories: 1) They must be 40 years old or younger, and 2) They must have practiced law for 10 years or less.
According to Super Lawyers, this is a rating service of "outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement."
