
Chicago is Ready to Discover the Best Chilean Wines and Food at the National Restaurant Association Show
The Trade Commission of Chile (ProChile) in Chicago extends an open invitation to all food service companies, chefs, sommeliers, journalists, foodies and food & wine lovers to come and taste amazing products at the Chilean Pavilion.
CHICAGO, March 22, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- All attendees at the National Restaurant Association Show 2012 (NRA Show) are encouraged to visit the Chilean Pavilion (booth #7457) located in the International Pavilion to sip Chilean wines and to sample delicious Chilean-American cuisine. A unique group of Chilean companies chosen to showcase their food, wine and commercial refrigeration products at the Chilean Pavilion are gearing up for the annual four-day show that will commence on Saturday May 5.
Visiting the Chilean Pavilion will transport attendees to the South Hemisphere through amazing flavors, wines, videos and remarkable chefs! This is the goal of both the Trade Commission of Chile in Chicago and the companies representing the top quality products of Chile, which include Agro America, Bogaris, Las Doscientas, Mimet, Mainstream and Wines of Chile. Bogaris and Las Doscientas will be offering some of the best olive oils and Wines of Chile will be sampling a variety of top quality wines while providing information on the various wine regions. Agro America and Mainstream will showcase their distinct meat and fish products and Mimet will be showcasing their innovative commercial refrigeration products.
In order to offer the specially selected Chilean - American cuisine, Chilean Chef Kathy Medel and Chicago celebrity Chef Julius Russel have again joined the team to combine these exceptional Chilean food products with their inimitable Chicago cooking styles. Both chefs have significant experience cooking with Chilean olive oils, wines, seafood and meats and will undoubtedly surprise visitors with exceptional dishes that highlight the great flavors of Chile. Both chefs also showcased their creations last year at the NRA 2011, contributing to the Chilean Pavilion being recognized by the Food Channel as Top Seven Trend Setters at the 2011 NRA Show.
