CHICAGO, July 3, 2014 Since 1922, the immaculate Oak Brook Polo Grounds have been home to world-class teams visiting every summer to play at one of the largest polo facilities in the country. With rates beginning at $149 per night, this package includes:

• Overnight accommodations, either with one king bed or two double beds
• Breakfast for up to four guests, which includes two adults and two children 12 and under
• Shuttle service to the Polo grounds

For more than 80 years, the Oak Brook Polo Club has brimmed with history. The original grounds became the largest facility in the country in 1953, and was home to the Polo Open, the premier polo tournament in the U.S. from 1954 to 1978. This 25-year stretch was the longest the tournament was ever played in one location. Today, the Village Polo Committee is determined to restore the location and Club to its former level of prestige with world-class matches each summer.

Upcoming matches take place on July 6, July 13, Aug. 10 and Aug. 17. Matches are at 1 and 3:30 p.m. and each match has a different theme.
