Chicago Native Anne Rutt of Limbo Jewelry Design Returns for the Festival Circuit
From Wells Street Fine Art Festival to Indie Wed, Limbo Jewelry will be touring Chicago with their sleek, classic designs
AUSTIN, Texas, May 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Chicago's prodigal daughter, Anne Rutt-Enriquez, returns to the Windy City for the third year to showcase Limbo Jewelry Design on the summer arts festival circuit. Anne's company, founded with her designer husband, Edson Enriquez, began as an intimate and unassuming retail pop-up shop in Austin, TX. After five successful years in the artist market, the couple have recently opened the new Limbo Jewelry Showroom in famed SoCo neighborhood, renowned for its chic, colorful vibe and world class shopping.
Though she's set up shop in Austin, Rutt-Enriquez considers Chicago her second home. "Not only does the city bring back wonderful childhood memories, but I also love how the city comes to life during the summer," says Rutt. "Each neighborhood celebrates with outdoor festivals, amazing restaurants boast fantastic patios and there are gorgeous flowers on almost every corner. My summers in Chicago recharge my batteries to keep me going all year. Plus, it's a great excuse to be close to my family."
Anne's husband and Limbo Jewelry designer, Edson Enriquez, adds that he finds inspiration in Chicago's architecture: "It helps me get in the right mindset to create new collections and inspires the overall look of the brand. In addition, the city encourages creative ways of approaching the expansion of our company." Is that foreshadowing a possible Limbo Jewelry Chicago showroom? There's no confirmation yet, but you can find Limbo Jewelry Design all season at some of Chicago's favorite summer festivals.
About Limbo Jewelry Design:
Limbo Jewelry Design is the product of husband and wife team: Edson Enriquez (Designer/Creative Director) and Anne Rutt-Enriquez (sales, operations). Limbo Jewelry Design was founded in 2005 as an intimate retail pop-up shop on South Congress Avenue in Austin, TX. These humble beginnings served as Edson's playful way to refine his craft and design abilities. Edson's uncommon take on architectural jewelry, art, and nature-inspired designs and Anne's complementary professional experiences in marketing and PR, continue to guide the Limbo brand's rapid growth.
