China BAK to Supply Lithium Phosphate Energy Storage Solutions to Sanke

SHENZHEN, China Nov. 16, 2010 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- China BAK Battery, Inc. ("China BAK", the "Company", or "we") (Nasdaq: CBAK), a leading global manufacturer of lithium-based battery cells, today announced that the Company entered into a supply agreement to supply the Company's lithium phosphate energy storage solution – Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) to China Sanke Electrical Co., Ltd ("Sanke"), a leading China-based manufacturer of commercial and industrial UPSs, Stabilizers and Inverters.

Under terms of the supply agreement, China BAK will supply 10,000 units of UPS to Sanke by the end of this year. UPS is a compact and portable solution powered by China BAK's high-power lithium cells and offers an attractive alternative to more traditional, heavy lead-acid battery and plug-in powered models.
