China Clean Energy Appoints New Auditor

FUQING CITY, China, April 16 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- China Clean Energy Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: CCGY) ("China Clean Energy" or the "Company"), a producer of biodiesel fuel and environmentally-friendly specialty-chemical products made from renewable resources in The People's Republic of China ("PRC"), today announced it has engaged Friedman, LLP as the Company's independent auditor.

On April 14, 2010, the Company engaged Friedman, LLP to serve as the Company's independent auditor effective immediately. Founded in 1924, Friedman, LLP is headquartered in New York City and has offices in New Jersey and Long Island, employing 325 personnel, and providing accounting, tax and consulting services to public and privately held companies.

The Company's consolidated financial statements for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2009 were audited by Frazer Frost, LLP. The audit report prepared by Frazer Frost, LLP for this period did not contain any adverse opinion or disclaimer of opinion, nor were they qualified or modified as to uncertainty, audit scope or accounting principles. There were no disagreements between China Clean Energy Inc and Frazer Frost, LLP.
