China Machine Tool & Tool Builders' Association Held Press Conference to Announce CCMT2016

SHANGHAI, March 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- On March 10, 2016, the China CNC Machine Tool Fair 2016 (CCMT2016) press conference was successfully held in Shanghai. Reporters from over 40 well-known media including online media, new media, professional journals and newspapers, as well as nearly 70 people from sponsors and organizers of CCMT attended the meeting.

CCMT2016 will be held and cosponsored by Shanghai New International Expo Center on April 11-15, 2016. The theme of CCMT2016 is: new environment, new pattern and new action. The theme accurately and clearly reflects the characteristics of the times of China's machine tool industry development and industrial market, and it reflects the background of CCMT2016.

At present, due to the profound changes in the market environment and other growth factors, the total domestic demand has diminished, and the upgrading of structures has accelerated. According to reports, the scale of CCMT2016 will reach a new high. It will use N1-N5 and E3-E7, 10 exhibition halls in total with its total area being 120,000 square meters of the Shanghai New International Expo Center. Over 1,100 machine tool enterprises from more than 20 countries and regions including Mainland China, Germany, the United States, Japan, Italy, Switzerland, Britain, South Korea, Taiwan will join in the event. The 400 overseas exhibitors accounted for nearly 40% of the total area. The machine tool associations and trade promotion organizations from 9 countries and regions including Germany, the United States, Switzerland, Italy, South Korea, Spain, Japan, the Czech Republic and Taiwan will join CCMT2016. Among them Germany, Italy, Spain and Czech Republic are listed for the first time as government-support projects for CCMT. The degree of internationalization of CCMT has significantly improved.

CCMT2016 will contain a large number of exhibits, many are new exhibits, covering a wide range of products from metal cutting machine tools, metal forming machine tools, non-traditional machine tools, flexible manufacturing units, automation production lines, industrial robots, control system and automation components, functional components, measuring / tooling / fixture, measuring and testing instruments, and accessories and materials.
