HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Oct. 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Newcomer comedian Kellyann Chippendale made her Las Vegas debut this past weekend with three hilarious and controversial back-to-back bookings: The Laugh Factory at the Tropicana, the Laughlin Laugh Fest at Harrah's, and Sam's Town 'Live!' at Sam's Town Casino.

Kellyann struck a chord with her many riffs on the Chippendale family name, especially how she's often confused with the Chip n' Dale tree-chomping chipmunks cartoon, or the Chippendale line of fine furniture, or the Chippendales strip show of handsome men grinding their groins in g-strings. Then she brought down the house when she pointed out that "It's all about the wood, isn't it?"
From there she went on into delightful and daring new areas where no female comic has gone before, including a "singing vagina" she blames on taking Ginseng.
The high point of the Chippendale Vamping Vegas triumph came when she took the stage for 15 minutes as the only comedian in the Sam's Town Live! "Toast of the Town" show, with a standing-room-only packed house of 500 largely older folks. Most of the audience laughed and applauded the Chippendale fresh take on life as a woman today, but a very vocal segment called her humor "too off-color" for a Sunday evening.
The controversy turned into a kind of 'choosing up sides' confrontation in the lobby after the show, with one side enthusiastically in favor of Kellyann's funny liveliness for its 'keeping us young' value, as others questioned the 'appropriateness' of some of her material. Kellyann herself joined the lobby debate and ended up promising to tone down "just a little" when she comes back for another Sunday show.
Even the "Toast of the Town" co-hosts got into the Chippendale argument onstage, with 3-time Emmy winner Vita Corimbi saying "Well, after all, it is Sunday", while her co-host TV star and Vegas regular Kelly Clinton (wife of singing star Clint Holmes), chimed in with a chuckling disagreement: "I think it's about time we had a few penis jokes in this show!"
Known now as "The Chippendale of Comedy", Kellyann Chippendale is available for future bookings during November of 2015 and/or January of 2016, with a management team led by Christina Scott at (424) 288-4116; Email
