Chris Lowe Appointed Sales Director for Australia and New Zealand

DULUTH, Ga., Feb. 12, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- DataPath, Inc., a leading provider of advanced and secure communications solutions, announced today the appointment of Chris Lowe of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, to the position of sales director for Australia and New Zealand.

Lowe will have overall responsibility for sales and customer development for the company's satellite and wireless communications products, systems and secure communications software.  He will report to Carsten Drachmann, DataPath's Chief Sales and Marketing Officer.

Lowe comes to DataPath after service as a senior executive at Telstra where he served as the Director, Federal Government. He led major billion dollar governmental Digital and ICT (Information and Communications Technology) transformation programs for Australia's Department of Human Services and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. 

Before joining Telstra, Chris was employed by Aussat (now Optus), and GEC Marconi where he worked on European NATO projects before immigrating to Australia to take up an engineering role with NASA.  

Lowe is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He has been an active committee member and Deputy Chair of the Australian Information Industry Association  (AIIA) in Canberra and an ICT technologies industry expert and ministerial advisor to government.

He is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and an alumnus of the Macquarie Graduate School of Management and the Australian Graduate School of Management. In addition, he holds a Masters of Business Administration and a Graduate Diploma in Business Marketing having previously qualified as an Electronics Engineer in the United Kingdom.
