Christmas in July: Expedia.com gifts travelers deepest discounts of the summer

BELLEVUE, Wash., July 5, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Expedia.com® is kick-starting holiday celebrations early this year, offering customers additional savings on top of already discounted hotel and flights. Beginning July 5, a selection of deals on hotel and flight and hotel combined packages will be available through July 19 during the Christmas in July summer sale.

Expedia.com is offering summer savings anywhere from 20 percent to 50 percent off select hotel and package bookings. Think of it as Expedia's bonus Black Friday. Expedia customers will be offered six hotel and package coupons over a three-week period beginning, July 5, 2016. These valuable savings are in addition to already discounted deals.

Each of the six Christmas in July coupons will be available for a limited time while supplies last. These coupons will be available to Expedia.com visitors at 9:00 am PT on the specified dates, while Expedia email-subscribers will also receive details each day regarding the promotion. All offers apply to standalone hotel bookings as well as flight and hotel package deals while supplies last so travelers should act fast to secure savings once each of the six coupons is released. Specific details on each coupon include:

• Week 1: On July 5, Expedia customers will have the opportunity to book hotel deals up to 50 percent off, with access to an extra 20 percent off coupon. This sale will apply to select hotels for 24 hours, or while supplies last. The packages coupon will launch simultaneously, offering users $100 off a package of at least $500.
• Week 2: On July 12, the package savings continue as customers will have another opportunity to cash in on saving $100 off of package deals of at least $500. This particular week will also feature a deal offering savings of $100 off of select hotel purchases over $350 while supplies last.
• Week 3: To close out Christmas in July, Expedia is pulling out all the stops with a 50 percent off select hotels coupon on purchases of $300 or more. While supplies last, customers can book a hotel stay for 50 percent off when spending a minimum of $300 or take advantage of the $100 off a package of at least $500.
