PORTLAND, Ore., April 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Chrome Systems, Inc., a subsidiary of DealerTrack Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: TRAK), and a leader in automotive data, today announced it will provide Chrome's VIN data and decoding solutions to eBay Motors. The solutions make it easier for sellers to list their vehicles, parts, and accessories, enabling more complete and accurate vehicle listings, and therefore a better experience for buyers and sellers using the eBay Motors website.
Chrome's Automotive Description Service (ADS) and Chrome IQ solutions will give eBay Motors the capability to enhance search, providing one-to-one vehicle matching for the most detailed brand, model, trim and equipment descriptions. In addition, eBay Motors will soon utilize Chrome's Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) Aftermarket Catalog Enhanced Standard (ACES) mapping solution to help merchandise parts and accessories within vehicle listings.
