ST. PAUL, Minn., Feb. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CHS Inc. (Nasdaq: CHSCP), a leading energy, grains and foods company, has named Brad Wiggins as vice president, Insurance Risk Management.

Wiggins, who has more than two decades of experience in the risk management programs, assumed his new position effective Feb. 22.

In his role, Wiggins will be responsible for providing CHS and its business units with a full range of domestic and international insurance risk programs, ensuring that the company has an insurance management system that effectively identifies and controls all major types of risk within the dynamic domestic and global business environment. This will include coverage assessment, insurance policy design, carrier and broker relations, loss control, claims administration, workers compensation and other related analysis, reporting and administrative functions.
Wiggins most recently served as casualty claim manager for Cargill, Inc. He previously was a national account executive for Broadspire Services, Bloomington, Minn.; was vice president of workforce strategies for Marsh USA, Minneapolis; and held several positions for Crawford & Company, St. Paul, Minn.
He currently is treasurer for the Minnesota Chapter of the Risk and Insurance Management Society and is president of the Minnesota Self-Insurers Association. Wiggins holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing from Iowa State University.
