Church of the Highlands invites women to make a fresh start, together
The annual event across 17 campuses will inspire women with special guests New York Times best-selling author Lisa Bevere, Christian speaker Lisa Harper and Grammy-nominated artist DOE.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala., Sept. 30, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- In a world that's becoming more fragmented and disconnected, Church of the Highlands is offering women the opportunity to make friends and start a journey to transform their lives.
Women across Alabama and Georgia are invited to register for Together Women's Conference, a two-day gathering happening Friday, October 3 through Saturday, October 4, at 17 Highlands locations.
"This conference is designed to encourage women at any stage of life," said Lead Pastor Mark Pettus. "We believe God has something fresh and life-changing for every person who comes, and our prayer is that women leave feeling connected and filled with purpose."
This year's theme, Made New, is rooted in Ephesians 4:22-24 and calls women to leave behind the old and step into the identity and purpose God created them for. Pastor Jill Pettus, wife of Lead Pastor Mark Pettus, is helping to organize the event. She will share thoughts on how God transforms her life as a wife, active member of the community, and mother of the couple's four sons.
"Every one of us has places in our lives that need a fresh start, and the good news is that Jesus is still in the business of making all things new," Jill Pettus said. "This year's conference will be a life-giving, faith-building, community-strengthening weekend you won't want to miss."
The conference will feature:
- Lisa Bevere, a faith leader and best-selling author
- Lisa Harper, a Christian author, bible educator and speaker
- DOE, Grammy-nominated artist and performer of "When I Pray"
The conference experience will include worship, teaching and small group moments designed to help women encounter God in a personal way. Attendees will also enjoy a Friday night After Party with dinner and desserts, a Saturday lunch with friends, first access to shop the exclusive Together Conference Collection, and fun touches like photo booths and giveaways.
Registration is $75, with scholarships available for those who would not otherwise be able to attend. Women may request a scholarship application by emailing [email protected]. Church membership is not required to attend. There are still seats remaining at most locations.
