CIBER Names New Leader for North American Retail Practice

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo., Aug. 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- CIBER is adding top-tier IT expertise and industry savvy to its retail practice with the appointment of Richard J. Bianco as North American practice leader. The retail vertical is one of the company's largest practice areas, with some 1,100 professionals who have made CIBER a leader in SAP Retail implementations worldwide.

Bianco has served as Vice President and CIO at Safeway Stores, as well as a partner and delivery executive for IBM Global services, where he managed the SAP practice linked to the retail and consumer products industries. He also is the founder of a strategic business and technology consulting firm, which was purchased by Value Trader.  He comes to CIBER from NetServPro Inc., where he just completed a major implementation of SAP ERP Central Component (ECC) with CRM and Mobility, spanning operations in North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia, for a global consumer products company.
