CIBER Wins Contract With Eurofresh Farms to Implement Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo., Oct. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- CIBER, Inc. (NYSE: CBR) today announced it was awarded a contract to implement Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne system at Eurofresh Farms, a leading producer and marketer of greenhouse tomatoes and cucumbers.  The project began in early August and is expected to go live early in 2011.  Additional phases are expected to further enhance Eurofresh's ability to lead its market sector.

The new JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications will transform business processes and replace Eurofresh Farm's current applications with one integrated business system.  CIBER is an Oracle Accelerate Partner for the Food and Beverage industry.  CIBER's Oracle Accelerate Solution, Principle Express Pack™ (PEP) delivers pre-built industry customizations that leverage the JD Edwards toolset following Oracle's development standards. Eurofresh will be streamlining many of its business processes to take advantage of the industry best practices built into the product.  The JD Edwards Grower Management and Grower Pricing and Payments modules, along with CIBER's prebuilt customizations for agribusiness, will help Eurofresh Farms expand their brokerage offerings exponentially without additional investments in manual administration.

The implementation is a partnership between CIBER's JD Edwards Food and Beverage experts and an internal Eurofresh Farms team.  Phase one includes functionality relating to finance, distribution, manufacturing, grower management and mobility solutions to automate and augment the solution.  Multiple phases will follow that will continue to expand functionality and provide benefits to Eurofresh.
