Cigital Continues to Gain Global Momentum as it Approaches the New Year

DULLES, Va., Nov. 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Cigital, Inc., the industry leader in software security solutions, has completed a strong year of business with a major acquisition, compelling new offerings and global expansion. On pace to close the year with $60M in sales bookings, Cigital is positioned to stay the course of six consecutive years of double-digit, year-over-year growth.

To support its strong trajectory, Cigital is expanding geographically. Cigital continues penetration into the Pacific Rim, recently signing reseller agreements with eNsecure, Inc. (Korea) and Galaxy Security Services Corporation (Taiwan) for the company's computer-based training programs. As demand continues to rise, Cigital has added or expanded offices across North America, India and Europe. For example, the London office has expanded to accommodate staff growth as Cigital continues to gain significant traction in the UK.

Cigital continues to strengthen its position as a market leader in providing application testing as-a-service.  The recent acquisition of iViZ Security significantly extends Cigital's testing capabilities and capacity, and the recent launch of Cigital's 3D Unlimited Application Security Testing has generated significant attention from organizations looking to test the breadth of their application portfolio. Cigital is on track to test more than 4,000 applications and deliver more than 6,000 hours of source code review in 2014.
