CINCINNATI, Jan. 14, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Following a national executive search, the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber announced that Darrin M. Redus, Sr. will be the new Vice President of its Minority Business Accelerator (MBA). His first day with the Chamber will be Tuesday, January 19.
"Darrin has earned a national reputation as a thought leader and practitioner in inclusion-based entrepreneurship and economic development," said Jill Meyer, president & CEO of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber. "His national presence, experiences, and network will be a huge asset to the MBA's ability to continue growing scalable, sustainable diverse businesses in our region."
Launched in 2003, the MBA provides a wide swath of services, including infrastructure evaluation, opportunity analysis and capital access solutions, to help grow sizable minority-owned businesses – while working with majority-owned firms to diversify spend and get innovative solutions – ultimately creating jobs and wealth among minority-owned business owners.

Mr. Redus is Founder, and former President & CEO of MainStreet Inclusion Advisors, LLC. (MSIA), a national advisory and entrepreneurial development organization. He also served as Chief Economic Inclusion Officer for JumpStart Inc., a nationally recognized non-profit entrepreneurial development organization and Founder and CEO of Redus Small Business Advisors, a strategic planning and management assistance firm.
Mr. Redus holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Baldwin-Wallace College, and over the past 25 years has led numerous national workshops, seminars and business forums on matters of economic development, entrepreneurship and inclusion. Additionally, he writes for Huffington Post, Living Cities and a host of other national and international media.
