DALLAS, May 23, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Cinergy Entertainment Group, Inc. announced today that it has applied for a building permit and intends to begin construction by August 1st with a new target opening date of fall 2018. Cinergy will be located in the new development of Town Square Village at 9201 Cinergy Square in Amarillo, TX, near the intersection of Soncy and Hillside in the fast-growing southwest portion of the city. "We originally anticipated an opening date of late 2017; however, we felt the need to revise the construction plans after the highly successful opening in Odessa late last fall. Cinergy in Amarillo will now feature multiple escape rooms, a second bar, more bowling lanes than originally planned, an outdoor patio featuring fire pits and an indoor/outdoor bar, and more theatre seating -- all still in a 90,000sf building," stated Jeff Benson, Cinergy's CEO.
Cinergy Entertainment will boast ten state-of-the-art auditoriums, eighteen lanes of upscale bowling with sophisticated design and seating, two full-service bars, multiple escape rooms, a fully-loaded game floor with more than 110 interactive games, redemption store, premium dining options, a multi-level laser tag arena, Sky Walker with a zip line (a gravity-defying, black light overhead ropes course), and multiple event rooms. Auditoriums will showcase large wall-to-wall screens, enhanced sound, and spacious electric recliner seating. The new Amarillo complex will feature Cinergy's premium large-format auditorium, EPIC "Experience Perfection in Cinema." The EPIC auditorium was developed to provide an amazing large-screen experience using the most advanced technology and techniques available. EPIC is the ultimate in movie immersion and comfort.
